Terms
Short, because there is not much to say. The detail of any actual engagement lives in the engagement letter.

This website
The content of this site is general information about how I work and what I have done. It is not advice about your business, because I have not looked at your business. Nothing here creates a contract. That happens in writing, once we have spoken.
I try to keep the site accurate, and I correct it when I find it is not. The figures on the track record page describe roles I held and are stated as accurately as I can state them. They are not a promise about what will happen in your business.
The readiness check
The free check is an automated reading of publicly available pages of the store address you provide. It is a starting point rather than an audit, and it can be wrong. Scores describe how the store looked to an automated reader at the moment it was checked. Fix effort estimates are rough.
By submitting a store address you confirm you have a legitimate interest in that store, such as owning it, working for it or advising it. Each store is checked once in twenty-four hours, and repeated submissions from the same place are limited.
Working together
Diagnostic work is fixed price and fixed scope, as set out on the pricing page, and is invoiced once we have both agreed in writing that it is the right thing to do. Ongoing work is quoted from the plan, is rolling, and can be ended by either side with thirty days notice.
Media, tooling and any specialist time are billed at cost in your own name and never marked up. I do not charge a percentage of advertising spend. Everything created in the course of the work, including accounts, data, documentation and test history, is yours from day one.
The full terms of any engagement, including confidentiality, liability and what happens if either of us wants to stop, are set out in the engagement letter, which takes precedence over this page.
Conflicts
I work with one brand per category at a time, and two brands in total. I currently run ecommerce for a direct to consumer coffee brand, so coffee is the one category I do not take on.
