This site collects as little as it can. Here is what it does collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Who I am
Scale and Summit is the trading name of Jason Millward, based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. I am the data controller for anything collected through this site. You can reach me at hello@scaleandsummit.com.
What this site collects
Very little. The pages themselves set no cookies and run no scripts. If analytics are enabled, they are Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, fingerprinting or storing anything on your device, and does not identify you.
If you book a call, the booking calendar is provided by a third party and loads only when you choose to open it. Your name, email address and the time you pick are handled by that provider under its own privacy notice, and are sent to me so I can turn up.
If you email me, I keep the email so I can reply, and for as long as the conversation is useful.
The readiness check
When you run the free readiness check you give me a store address and an email address. The store address is used to run the check against publicly available pages of that store, and the result is held for twenty-four hours so the same store is not checked repeatedly. The email address is used to send you the report and for nothing else, unless you tick the box asking for occasional notes.
If you do tick the box, your email address is stored so I can send those notes. Every one of them will have an unsubscribe link, and you can also email me to be removed at any time. The box is unticked by default.
A copy of each report is sent to me, so I can see what is being checked and fix the check when it gets something wrong.
Client work
If we work together I will have access to your analytics, advertising and commerce accounts, in your name and under your control. What I do with that data, and how long I keep working files, is set out in the engagement letter rather than here.
Who else sees it
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Emails are sent through a transactional email provider. The booking calendar is a third party service. None of them are given your data for their own purposes, and I do not sell, rent or share it with anybody else.
Your rights
You can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used, by emailing hello@scaleandsummit.com. I will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
